Site and Designer FAQs

Read this section for useful tips and design ideas. Click any template below to start with that fully editable design.

Product Designer Quick Start

1. Choose a product from the Shop and click Start Designing to launch the design editor. You can change it at any time by clicking the product link at the top left corner in the design editor

2. Choose a template, clipart or add your images to the designer. You can change any color of any item in the designer, so don’t worry if you see red plaid and want blue, you can do it easily with the click of a button.

3. Edit your design and save it for printing and use on other products if you like.

The HELP menu item in the design editor has tips and more information. You can access it without losing your edits or art.

Our designer allows you to use clip-art provided, upload your own photos, files, designs or text. The designer also has hundreds of stock images and designs to pick from. Use the advanced text field to create amazing effects. Be sure to design the key text or images away from the boundaries to ensure the image is fully visible. Be creative. Have fun and we are sure you will LOVE your new, personalized product.

Templates are available by product and shape and are sorted into categories for easy selection.

To use one, select a product in the designer, then click the template tab to choose a layout you like.

When the template is loaded, click individual elements to edit them.

Change the template by selecting a new one and dragging it over to your design area.

When your border, frame or pattern is loaded in the designer, click the color button above the art and choose from the pre-loaded colors or select your own.

Popular color combinations are listed in the top menu under  HELP > Color Palettes 

Most backgrounds, frames and clipart are svg (scalable vector graphic) format so they can be enlarged or reduced without distortion and edited for color.

To edit a color, click the color dot above the artwork and change it using any preloaded color or add your own with a hex value or using the sliders.

Each element in your design is on it’s own layer that can be moved forward, backward, duplicated, deleted or hidden.

TIP: if you’re having problems isolating a layer to work on it, like positioning an image or moving text, click the layers tab on the left and then click the EYE icon to hide the layers. When you’re done editing, click the EYE icon again to unhide them.

Popular color palettes for backgrounds, frames and borders are available in the Design Editor > HELP menu – Palettes.

The colors are listed from left to right. Just enter them in each color option to make changes.

Color palettes are available for checkered, rays, camouflage, paws, plaids and other patterns. Just copy the colors in order to change your background. You can also create your own using the same process and see immediate results.

Frames and borders are transparent in the center allowing for images to show through.

The colors are editable by selecting the corresponding color selector button in the top tool bar above your image.

Popular color combinations are listed in the HELP >> Color Palettes tab above the design area.

Upload any image from your computer or a photo site like unsplash.com. The designer is mobile friendly so you can upload from your phone as well.

Add them by dragging and dropping into your design.

Use the layers tool to move it forward or backward to change it’s visibility.

Use the magic wand tool to crop the image, remove the background and apply filters. You can undo your work by clicking UNDO in the top tool bar.

General FAQs

All the products on the site are printed using sublimation, which is the process of going from a solid to a gas state bypassing the liquid phase.

The image is printed using sublimatable ink and then pressed to the specially treated surface using a heat press.

The result is an image that has been bonded to the surface of the product, so it will never scratch off or peel.

You can use any image, artwork, slogan, photo or other composition that YOU HAVE THE RIGHTS to use. Trademarked slogans, logos, paintings, photos, or other emblems that you do not own  can not be printed. We also reserve the right to refuse to print any item at our sole discretion, including but not limited to pornography, or anything promoting illegal activities.

Standard production time on CustomGifts.pro orders is 10 business days but most orders ship within 5 days of receipt. Please be aware that more complex, larger orders may require the full production time. Due to current supply chain interruptions and shipping delays, we are not able to offer same day rush production services.

No. In an effort to offer the best service to our customers, orders are sent to production immediately after they are processed online. By offering faster production times to our customers, unfortunately means that we are not able to accept changes to orders once they are placed. PLEASE be sure to verify spelling, dates, names and key image and text features are well within the boundaries of the templates. Please email Customer Care before placing your order if you have any questions.

As each product is individually produced, if we notice errors in spelling or other issues, we will contact you prior to printing to ensure everything is correct.

Due to the personalized nature of our custom products, we are not able to accept returns if your product is free from product defect or manufacturing error.

However, we understand everyone makes mistakes (that includes us) so please contact us and we will be happy to help you with a discount on your replacement purchase. All other items have a 14 day 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t love your product, return it for a full refund less shipping.

Our fundraising program is available to any individual, group, program, cause or project. Ongoing product promotions support various groups and causes across North America.

Fundraising in today’s post covid climate is harder than ever, and the needs are growing in every area. The Blizzard snowflake promotion is timely, fun, and affordable for people to participate in. The additional aspect of helping out without spending more adds to the allure.

It’s completely free, and the more people we have, the more people see your story as well.

That’s ok. Your link will still earn 10% of any sales made from the link whether they choose your fundraiser or not. The same applies if someone follows a different link and then buys your fundraiser. They get their percentage, and your program earns yours.

Yes. You can order any of the Blizzard fundraiser ornaments in bulk for direct sale, sale in your shop, or for in-house mailing or any other delivery method. Minimum quantities and other restrictions apply.
